The Double Bell Polka Project
Machiko – Three-piece ensemble (keys/vocals, trumpet, trombone/tuba) featuring the music of Michelle Roche. We have some great stuff coming down the pipeline! Be sure to keep in touch!
Sarah and the Houligans – My own pet project, born out of the Covid summer of 2020. We pulled together into a more cohesive and defined ensemble in 2021 and are excited to play the traditional music of New Orleans this summer!

Past Projects
Cabaret La Ruse – A very interesting project that features a quartet consisting of banjo, guitar, accordion/trombone and tuba. Occasionally, we will add percussion. I hope to post more info as it becomes available, but our eclectic group has been rehearsing since our lovely COVID summer of 2020. Our repertoire consists of original music (by each talented member), covers of Captain Gravitone (local legendary band), and select arrangements of jazz, blues, and bluegrass charts. Captain Gravitone and the String Theory Orchestra – An eclectic group of musicians that perform original work, jazz and funky standards, and much more!
Jessica Landsteiner Photography – Jess is a wonderful photographer and will be helping spice up this website with some lovely visual media!
Minnesota Original Music Fest, St. Peter, MN, July 2022 – I’ll be performing with at least one group for this week long event as well as being composer in residence for the weekend opening of events in Minnesota Square Park! I look forward to collaborating with the Minnesota Original Music Fest and the Govenaires Drum and Bugle Corps!
Stars of the North, 2020. This was a McKnight grant-funded project through Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council. I composed 10 movements for 12-piece chamber ensemble that featured scenic locations of Minnesota’s North Shore and Iron Range.
