Holiday

Holiday (a Pastafarian Carol for All), by Sarah Houle, 2020, for brass quartet with lyrics: Lead Sheet (Piano, Vocal, Chords), Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba.

Many denominations have carols and tunes that celebrate holidays. Pastafarianism is absolutely no different. This carol is appropriate for the all-encompassing Pastafarian holiday that occurs during or around the time of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Yule, Winter Solstice, etc.. “Holiday” does not occur on any specific date, but rather, encompasses the whole season.

Pastafarians stand for “All That Is Good”, so it seems only fitting to spread the goodness and joy Holiday brings to people in my own small way. “Holiday” is for everyone!

I hope you enjoy getting into the spirit of the season and celebrating Holiday with this raucous tune!
